X50 - Signal Bulb

an unexpected incident occurred when another driver alerted me that no indicator signal was visible from the rear while I was turning right, even though I was certain I had switched it on... upon checking, it turned out that only the front signal was functioning, while the rear signal had failed... I immediately sent to HZN Kelana Jaya, the Proton Service Centre located near UNITAR, to have it inspected... while there, the technicians informed me that they had received official instructions from Proton headquarters requiring the replacement of the power window metal clip for all Proton X50 vehicles from my production year, due to numerous customer complaints... the replacement was carried out free of charge... in addition, the faulty rear right signal bulb was replaced at a cost of RM43.95... everything was resolved efficiently, and the experience reinforced the importance of promptly addressing even small vehicle faults for safety...
