Flat Tire

I noticed that the rear tire had gone flat, as the air pressure gradually dropped even after inflating it... I immediately brought the car to a tire workshop in Taman Koperasi for inspection... thankfully, the tire tread was still thick and in good condition, so only a repair was needed... the cause was identified as a sharp object lodged in the tire, which was removed and sealed properly... the problem was resolved quickly, allowing us to proceed with our drive back to Puncak Alam today without any further concern...

Murtabak Rose

whenever we are back in Alor Setar, Murtabak Rose is a must‑have... now available as a frozen product, it’s even more convenient - we can enjoy it anywhere, anytime... there are 3 delicious fillings to choose from: chicken, beef, and mutton... preparation is simple: just defrost for about 8 to 15 minutes, then reheat using an oven or a pan... everyone has their own way of enjoying it, but for me, the air fryer does the trick - quick, easy, and slightly crispy on the outside... same great taste, wherever you are...

The Melbournes

it has been a long time since we last met Cikgu Zarul and Kak Ody, and the reunion brought back many fond memories... it turns out that Cikgu Zarul was part of the same circle as Marbawi Husin, Own Aksho, and Azman Mat Saman - all of whom were my classmates back in the day... these connections trace back to our shared beginnings in Felda Lubok Merbau, reminding us how enduring friendships and familiar bonds often reconnect us, even after years apart...

Maktab in 2018

this picture brings us back to our days at Maktab in 2018, sharing the same journey and even the same flight together... it captures a meaningful moment with Haji Yaakob, Haji Nasir, and Haji Samad, reflecting the close bonds formed through shared experiences... adding to this special connection, Cikgu Sharizam Zakaria also played a role in our lives by teaching Haji Samad’s child, further strengthening the ties between families, friendship, and education... these shared moments remind us how small the world can be and how meaningful relationships are formed through common paths...

Ask for Vote

as elections draw closer, various strategies are employed by politicians to attract votes... mistakes and controversies often become tools in political battles... in reality, many politicians maintain close relationships behind the scenes, yet what the public sees is hostility between the government and the opposition, as if they were sworn enemies... party‑hopping incidents further reveal this contradiction - publicly condemned, yet privately understood as part of political maneuvering... ultimately, each side has its own interests... when politicians offer help, it is often publicized on social media, not purely out of goodwill but also for visibility... that is the nature of politics, not only locally but worldwide - after all, who does not desire power? there are capable individuals who are genuinely good leaders, yet they remain unpopular... the phenomenon of party‑hopping clearly shows how power plays a central role in the pursuit of governance... regardless of these realities, we as citizens should avoid blaming one another... instead, we should focus on helping those in need, especially disaster victims - whether through physical assistance, financial support, or prayers... may all flood victims be eased in their affairs...

Big Daddy’s Food Station, located in Hutan Kampung, Alor Setar, is a popular local spot for hearty comfort food, especially during the evening hours... during our visit, we had the chance to try the mee kuah prepared by Cik Liah Salleh, and it truly lived up to its reputation - rich, flavourful, and deeply satisfying... the combination of authentic taste, generous portions, and a relaxed local atmosphere made the experience memorable... simply put, the mee kuah was awesome and well worth the visit...
