Naja enjoyed a memorable holiday with her close friend in Padang, Indonesia, a destination well known for its rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and world‑famous cuisine... located on the west coast of Sumatra, Padang offers beautiful natural attractions such as Pantai Padang, Pantai Air Manis - famous for the Malin Kundang legend - and nearby islands like Pulau Pasumpahan and Pulau Sirandah, which are perfect for relaxing, sightseeing, and enjoying stunning sea views... the city is also surrounded by lush hills and traditional Minangkabau architecture, giving visitors a unique cultural experience through historic sites, mosques, and local villages... no trip to Padang is complete without indulging in its legendary food, which is one of the main highlights of the visit... they had the chance to enjoy iconic dishes such as Rendang, Ayam Pop, Gulai Tunjang, Sate Padang, and Dendeng Balado, known for their bold spices and rich flavours... desserts and snacks like kue lapis, karupuak sanjai, and sweet iced drinks added to the experience... the combination of scenic destinations, warm local hospitality, and unforgettable food made Padang an enjoyable and meaningful getaway, filled with laughter, exploration, and lasting memories for both of them...

 

Disposal of Religious Books

Puncak Alam mosque provides a respectful service for the non‑burning disposal of the Al‑Quran and religious books, in accordance with Islamic guidelines... in Islam, sacred texts that are damaged, worn out, or no longer suitable for use must still be treated with great honour... the recommended method of disposal is by water immersion or burial, not burning... the pages are first collected and handled respectfully, then shredded or separated so that the sacred words are no longer readable... after that, the material is immersed in flowing water (such as a river or sea) or buried in clean land, ensuring the words of Allah SWT return respectfully to nature... this method preserves the sanctity of the Al-Quranic text, avoids disrespect, and aligns with classical Islamic scholarly guidance on the proper care and disposal of religious materials...

MBA Students

this photo was taken with the MBA students shortly after they had met their supervisor to submit their project paper report... it marks an important milestone in their academic journey, reflecting their hard work, dedication, and perseverance throughout the process... I had the privilege of serving as their examiner, assessing Chapters 1-3 during Session 1 and Chapters 4-5 during Session 2... the moment captured represents not only the completion of a significant academic task but also the shared sense of relief, accomplishment, and motivation as the students move closer to completing their MBA programme...

Gathering

Naja cooked at home and lovingly brought food and drinks to the boarding school for Azim and Abyana, allowing them to enjoy the meal together with their friends as a group... the gathering was filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement as they shared the homemade dishes, turning an ordinary day into a special and memorable moment... this thoughtful gesture not only satisfied their hunger but also brought a comforting sense of home into the hostel, strengthening friendships and creating a joyful atmosphere that everyone truly appreciated...

 

Rest Time

the school holidays have come to an end, and it is now time for them to return to the boarding school and resume their routines... there is, of course, a sense of sadness as they prepare to leave home once again, parting after precious days spent together as a family... yet despite the heavy hearts, we know that their journey of learning and self‑growth must continue... returning to the hostel is a step forward in their pursuit of knowledge, discipline, and success... with prayers, strength, and determination, they carry on their path towards a brighter future, knowing that every sacrifice today will one day bear meaningful rewards...

End of Ramadhan

Ramadhan has come to an end, and Syawal now arrives to grace us once again... throughout the blessed month, we strove to nurture patience, sincerity, and devotion through fasting, prayers, supplications, and acts of kindness... may all our deeds be accepted by Allah SWT and leave a lasting impact in shaping purer hearts and calmer souls... for any shortcomings or mistakes along the way, let us forgive one another so that we may welcome Syawal with open hearts, renewed hope, and strengthened bonds... farewell, Ramadhan - may we be granted the opportunity to meet you again...

A Mysterious Item

the English teacher used an engaging speaking activity by asking students to describe a mysterious item orally without revealing its owner, encouraging them to focus on clear expression and descriptive language... as one student described the item’s features, appearance, or purpose, the other students listened carefully and tried to guess who the owner of the item was, based on the clues given... this activity effectively developed students’ speaking and listening skills, expanded their vocabulary, and boosted confidence in using English in a fun and interactive way... at the same time, it promoted critical thinking, teamwork, and active participation, making the learning process enjoyable and meaningful for everyone involved...

Iftar
