Prefects’ Leadership Workshop

this programme is designed as an early preparation initiative for Year 5 and Year 6 students who are sitting for the UPKK and PSRA examinations... through the implementation of this programme, it is hoped that candidates will gain early exposure, a clearer understanding of examination expectations, and better readiness in facing the UPKK and PSRA... ultimately, this initiative aims to support and motivate students in their efforts to achieve excellent results in both examinations...

the incident happened yesterday, just as I was heading home from work... my POCO phone slipped from my hand and fell to the floor... the moment I picked it up, the screen was already damaged beyond use - completely unusable... I accepted it; from that moment on, I stopped using my phone altogether...

today, I decided to upgrade my plan to Celcom Mega 98 on a 2‑year contract - 60GB for the first year and 50GB for the second... with that, I received a Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and 256GB storage, paying only RM199... my number remained the same, the SIM card was replaced, and all my data was seamlessly restored from my Google backup...

the most meaningful part, however, was being without a phone for 24 hours... it reminded me of life before smartphones - calm, undisturbed, and unexpectedly peaceful... no constant notifications, no interruptions - just quiet moments and clarity...

SRITI Hari Raya and Teachers’ Celebration

today marked the celebration of Teachers’ Day and Hari Raya at SRITI... there was no potluck contribution on our part; instead, a monetary contribution was given to the class teacher as a token of appreciation... Year 6 students were required to present a group performance - a special song dedicated to their teachers... regardless of the format or activities, what truly mattered was seeing the students joyful and excited to celebrate Hari Raya together with their teachers and friends, creating meaningful memories through togetherness and appreciation...

Abyana has been nominated for the position of Assistant Head Prefect, an approach that provides valuable early exposure to leadership... regardless of the outcome, the experience itself - being involved in a democratic election process - serves as an excellent learning opportunity, helping to build confidence, responsibility, and an understanding of fair leadership selection...

teachers provide guidance in delivering campaign speeches, using a standardized text for all candidates... the only difference lies in each candidate’s individual achievements, which are highlighted accordingly... may this out‑of‑classroom learning experience be meaningful for the students, particularly in helping them develop the essential skill of choosing responsible and capable leaders...

a total of 211 students were eligible to vote, with 192 students casting their votes, representing a commendable voter turnout of 90.99%... congratulations are extended to Muhammad Darwish, who was elected as Head Prefect with a majority of 54 votes, and Abyana, who was elected as Assistant Head Prefect with a majority of 66 votes... the strong participation reflects the students’ enthusiasm and meaningful engagement in the democratic leadership selection process...
