after completing Abah’s registration, we accompanied him to the dining hall for breakfast... it was a quiet and meaningful moment - sharing a simple meal together before the ceremony, filled with gratitude and reflection on the journey that led to this honour...
from there, we brought Abah straight to the Main Hall... along the way, I happened to meet an officer from the Royal Malaysian Navy, which brought back fond memories of earlier days - when FHTM collaborated with the Navy in Lumut for academic programmes... it was an unexpected encounter that rekindled professional ties and meaningful past experiences...
after sending Abah to the Main Hall, we stepped out for breakfast at a nearby place before heading straight to Jonker Walk... we took our time strolling through the area, enjoying the atmosphere and the relaxed pace of the morning... from there, we continued on to Mahkota Mall, where we spent some time simply sitting back and unwinding - an unhurried pause in an otherwise meaningful day...
we departed from Mahkota Mall at noon and made our way back to MITC... Abah’s ceremony concluded earlier than expected, and we proceeded directly to the dining hall... coincidentally, Abah was engaged in a warm conversation with one of his former juniors, making the moment even more meaningful... the conferment ceremony recognizing Abah’s long and dedicated service in the Royal Malay Regiment of the Malaysian Army was completed smoothly. congratulations, Abah - this honour stands as a testament to your unwavering service, sacrifice, and lifelong commitment to the nation...
