we held several activities together in one session - the Maulid procession, tahlil, a religious talk, and a birthday celebration... the programme began at 10:30 am, bringing everyone together in a meaningful and blessed gathering... 

Nina and Akeem's Wedding

we received a wedding invitation from Syed Fadilah and family to attend the marriage ceremony of their youngest sibling, Sharifah Fadilatul A’ina binti Syed Alias, to her partner Mohd Asrul Hakimi bin Abdul Latif... the ceremony was held at Wednesday Hall, Kamalinda Events and Weddings, Level UG, Utropolis Marketplace, Jalan Kontraktor U1/U14, Section U1, Shah Alam, and commenced at 8.00 pm... with a single solemn utterance of the akad nikah, the couple was officially and beautifully united as husband and wife...

Farewell of Chef Asma

tomorrow will be Chef Asma’s last day at UNITAR... today, a farewell gathering was held at DOME, Subang Parade, starting at 12 noon... as usual, I was entrusted with the honour of reciting a doa, praying for Chef Asma’s well‑being and success in her future undertakings... 

 

ya Allah, we raise our hands and lift our gratitude to You for all the blessings and mercy You have bestowed upon us... we thank You for granting us the opportunity, on this blessed day, to gather together for this meaningful occasion Pergimu Disanjung, Jasamu Dikenang in honour of Chef Asma...

ya Allah, we pray that You bestow Your mercy upon her whom we celebrate today... grant her good health, happiness, safety, and continued well‑being... accept all her sincere contributions and dedicated service over the years as acts of worship, and bless them with Your grace and mercy...

for those of us who remain in service, ya Allah, grant us guidance and strength, lasting health and well‑being... strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among us, reinforce our unity, nurture a spirit of cooperation and mutual support, preserve our character, make our sustenance lawful, and accept our service as an act of worship that brings continuous progress and success...

ya Allah, our Lord, make this gathering a gathering filled with Your mercy, and make this parting a blessed one... if our meeting was once for goodness, then let this separation also become a path toward greater goodness... unite and keep our hearts sincere in seeking Your pleasure... though we may be separated by distance, keep our memories of one another alive and meaningful...

Last Minutes Arrangement

this was a last-minute plan between Naja and Syazi... we went for lunch at Juadah restaurant, a popular dining spot serving halal Chinese-Muslim cuisine, located at No. 17, 1, Jalan Puncak Alam Jaya 15, Bandar Puncak Alam. it operates daily from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm, offers a variety of Chinese-style halal dishes such as fried rice, noodles, seafood, chicken, and vegetable-based meals, making it a convenient choice for those seeking Chinese flavours prepared according to Muslim dietary requirements. once we had finished our meal here, we headed straight to Setia City Mall to catch a movie at the cinema...

Myself

back then, he was incredibly mischievous - once his eyes were open, he was active non-stop... he loved asking questions, chatting endlessly, and could hardly sit still... the only time he ever slowed down was when he was asleep... he would leave for school neat and tidy, only to return home completely messy... truly a mummy’s boy... and that, in a nutshell, was Munir Barakbah...

Azzatul and Aiman's Wedding

we headed straight to another celebration - the wedding of the daughter of Syed Zulkarnain bin Syed Tamrin and Sharifah Naspuviyah binti Syed Agel... their daughter, Sharifah Azzatul Husna, was united with Aiman bin Azeri in a beautiful ceremony held at Calandra D’Astaka, Bukit Jelutong...

Safriman and Sharfika's Wedding

I first got to know Safriman during my early days working at UNITAR - he is definitely one of the senior colleagues... he was among the batch of lecturers who served during the Hajj season through the UNITAR-Tabung Haji collaboration, fulfilling professional duties while also performing the Hajj... over the years, he has shared a long friendship with Sharfika, fondly known as Cika, from FBT to UNITAR College... today, we had the honour of attending their wedding invitation... it was a pleasant surprise to see Azrin as the master of ceremonies, with Ustaz Imran reciting the doa... of course, Azrin and Cika have long been best friends since their faculty days... congratulations to both of them...

Syed Haris and Hafiza's Wedding

we left home after Maghrib prayers to attend the event for the son of Syed Hafizan (Epit)... congratulations to Epit on gaining a new family member on becoming a father-in-law...

Jalan Stadium

this bungalow-lot house was left behind by the tenant in extremely poor condition... the property belongs to Walid and had previously been rented out to a furniture business operator... compensation has been requested, although the process may take a considerable amount of time... for now, the main focus is on restoring and repairing the house... once completed, it will only be rented out for office use, and it will no longer be used as a furniture showroom or sales outlet...

this situation reflects a deeply disappointing and irresponsible act by the tenant, who showed little consideration for the property owner’s rights or feelings... the premises were handed over at the beginning of the tenancy in good structural condition, yet were abandoned in a damaged and neglected state... such behaviour demonstrates a clear lack of integrity, accountability, and respect for the trust placed in a tenant... leaving a property in this condition not only causes financial loss and emotional distress to the owner, but also reflects poorly on the tenant’s character and values... actions like these undermine fair rental relationships and inevitably bring long‑term consequences, as one’s conduct today shapes reputation, credibility, and peace of life in the future...
