the journey from Puncak Alam to Alor Setar felt incomplete without a short stop in Gurun... this was our second time giving in to the same temptation, and once again, it could only be for one reason - Sotong Buncit Jahat... just thinking about it was enough to make the brief detour feel absolutely worth it.
