Movement Control Order

this was the situation during the MCO period, when most of our time was spent at home... daily routines changed significantly as outdoor activities were limited, encouraging us to adapt to staying indoors, managing work, studies, and family life within the same space... while challenging, this period also created opportunities for rest, reflection, and strengthening family bonds...

Azim - Guitar

Azim completed his assignment on the guitar by using his ukulele as a visual aid, even though he did not actually play the guitar... during the presentation, he clearly explained the parts of the guitar, basic playing techniques, and key musical concepts, relating them effectively to the ukulele... this approach showed his understanding of the subject and his ability to adapt creatively while confidently delivering his explanation...

COVID-19

the COVID‑19 pandemic has left many people feeling anxious and conflicted - without movement restrictions, more are exposed to infection, yet with restrictions, financial hardship increases... either way, challenges remain... this is truly a time that tests our faith, our words, our actions, our practices, and our patience... it is a moment to reflect on the strength of our hearts and resilience of our souls... let us come together in prayer to Allah SWT, asking for guidance, strength, and perseverance to endure His tests, and to ensure that we do not become among those who are at loss in His sight...

Young and Dangerous Challenge

most of the time, we were stuck in the kitchen, while those out front had their own scene - until Chris joined in as well... looking back, I really miss those days; they were wild, crazy, and full of energy in the best way possible... whenever it was a customer’s birthday, we would all come out of the kitchen together to celebrate - no matter how busy we were... we went in early in the morning and only left late at night, experiencing true split shifts, even sneaking in sleep near the air‑conditioning engine room, where the sound felt like being inside an airplane - but somehow, we still managed to sleep... the best times were during Ramadan: breaking fast with just water and a Gudang Garam cigarette, finishing all the cooking first, and only then enjoying the food we had prepared ourselves... it was a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience - one that will stay with me forever, from a chapter of life I will always remember...

School Journey

while everyone else is doing the usual challenge accepted trend, I decided to do it a little differently by staying loyal to just one primary school and one secondary school... born in Alor Setar, I completed my entire school journey in the same hometown... my primary education was at Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Uda, Alor Setar (1985-1989), followed by my secondary at Kolej Sultan Abdul Hamid, Alor Setar (1990-1994)... born in Alor Setar, schooled in Alor Setar - true Kedahians.
