FOB Family Day

the FOB Family Day held at Nur Laman Bestari Eco Resort has successfully come to an end, marking a memorable and meaningful gathering for us... the resort is located at Hutan Lipur Sungai Tua, Jalan Ulu Yam Baru, 68100 Batu Caves, Selangor, approximately 15 minutes from Batu Caves and easily accessible from the Klang Valley... set amidst lush greenery and alongside a natural river, it provides a calm and refreshing environment that is well suited for our gathering... the venue is equipped with various facilities including chalets and cabins, open halls, a dining hall, prayer facilities, wide open spaces, and recreational areas by the river... these features created an ideal setting for family bonding, outdoor activities, and relaxation, making the FOB Family Day both enjoyable and well organized in a peaceful natural surroundings...

 

Haircut

while picking Azim up in the afternoon yesterday, he kept mentioning that he needed a haircut... today, I finally took him to a barbershop in Puncak Alam mosque, and without much discussion, I asked the barber to cut his hair short in accordance with school regulations... the haircut was done quickly and neatly, and with that, the issue was settled... he looked refreshed and ready to return to school without any concerns about appearance or compliance, making it a simple but satisfying task checked off for the day...

Marking

it is now time for me to begin marking the final examination papers for BAGD2013: Introduction to Organizational Behaviour for several sections, namely MC‑S2, MC‑S3, MC‑S4, MC‑S5, MC‑S6, MS‑S7, AS‑D1, CM‑D1, and JB‑D1... given the number of sections involved, the marking process is being carried out in stages to ensure consistency, fairness, and careful evaluation of each script... for today, the focus is on MC‑S5, MC‑S6, MC‑S7, AS‑D1, and CM‑D1, allowing sufficient time to assess students’ understanding, application of concepts, and quality of responses... the remaining sections will be completed on another day, ensuring that all examination papers are marked thoroughly and professionally in line with academic standards...

Hostel Decoration Day

the management of SMADATA organized a hostel decoration day involving students, parents, and teachers, creating a meaningful opportunity for collaboration and community spirit... for Abyana’s hostel, essential items and decorations were purchased online by parents and handed over to the respective hostel teachers for coordination and arrangement... the same approach was taken for Azim’s hostel, ensuring that all preparations were well organized and managed systematically... on this occasion, I contributed by sponsoring the paint used to repaint the hostel room walls, and the activity became even more meaningful as I joined the Form 4 students in painting together... the hands‑on involvement not only helped improve the hostel environment but also fostered a sense of ownership, teamwork, and responsibility among the students... overall, the programme successfully strengthened cooperation between the school, parents, and students while creating a more comfortable and welcoming living space for the hostel residents... 

Hit‑and‑Run

I was unaware that an accident had occurred at the 4‑way junction in Bandar Puncak Alam until I happened to open the Bandar Puncak Alam Facebook group... the incident took place at 6:10 am on Tuesday, 5 August 2025... by chance, I was able to contact the driver involved and shared dashcam video footage from my car to assist with the matter... unfortunately, the lorry’s registration number was not clearly visible in my recording... if anyone has clearer footage or additional recordings of the incident, your assistance would be greatly appreciated... kindly share the information directly with the victim at 017‑5813942 to help support the investigation...

Visit Abg Mahdi

Abang Mahdi has successfully completed his heart bypass surgery, and his recovery has been progressing well... initially, Naja and I visited him at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Heart Institute, which is a standard and necessary procedure following bypass surgery, as patients are required to undergo close monitoring and intensive care before being transferred to a general ward... on this occasion, we had the opportunity to visit him again, this time together with the children, after he had been moved to the ward... his condition is now stable and encouraging, and with steady recovery under medical supervision, he is expected to be discharged tomorrow, bringing relief and gratitude to the family...
