we had the opportunity to take part in the Bubur Asyura preparation programme at Kampung Jerang mosque, which formed part of the University’s Social Responsibility initiatives for 2023... the programme fostered strong community engagement and reflected the spirit of cooperation and togetherness between the university and the local community... we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Nazir of the mosque, Ami Mohamad Nazir, as well as all members of the mosque committee and the local kariah for their warm hospitality, commitment, and invaluable support in making this meaningful programme a success... we also had the opportunity to meet and take photographs with a state election candidate present at the programme, marking a memorable moment during our visit and reflecting the community engagement surrounding the event...

we had to send Azim to Semenyih, as the bus journey to SMADATA began from SK Bandar Sunway Semenyih, with departure scheduled at 2:45 pm... after dropping him off, we headed straight to Abg Kamal’s house, the son of the late Pak Hashim and Tok Yah (Tok’s adopted child from earlier days)... his place is conveniently located not far from where we dropped Azim, in Kampung Sesapan Batu Minangkabau, Beranang, making the journey smooth and well‑timed for the afternoon...
