I was entrusted with the honour of reciting the prayer in conjunction with the event delivered by Yang Berhormat Tan Sri Dato’ Johari bin Abdul, the Yang di‑Pertua Dewan Rakyat... the prayer marked the opening of the session, seeking blessings, wisdom, and guidance for meaningful discourse on governance and democratic values...
ya Allah ya Rahim, praise be to GOD the Lord of the Worlds, peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad SAW and his companions and for those who followed his example till the judgment day.
Allah Huma ya Allah, on this blessed morning, in conjunction with Nurturing Leaders of Tomorrow: A Conversation with Yang Berhormat Tan Sri Dato' Johari Bin Abdul, Yang di Pertua Dewan Rakyat, we beseech thee and grateful towards you in favor of all the infinite blessings to us, your humble servant, to live in safe and prosperous life... we seek your blessing for the flawless progress of this event from the beginning till the end... we seek your guidance to steer clear of an event that would be detrimental to the progress of this knowledge-filled session.
ya Latif ya Rahman, let our efforts as a means, to enlighten, and convince ourselves, that the personal safety of either, outer or inner is a prerequisite for achieving happiness and excellence in various fields... ya Allah, grant us faith and strength, in order to face the challenges of life, during the transition period, and in the face of life, in this new era...
ya Munzilal Barakah, ya Allah, show us guidance, and adjust our path and ways, to achieve happiness and glory... let us listen to people who like good things... let us avoid doing bad and evil things... ya Allah, blesses our life in this meeting and gathering, and prevents us from harm and unfortunate events...
