Syed Anis's Wedding Reception

we attended the wedding reception of Syed Anis at The Gabion Garden Hall, Kampung Pengantin, Taman Danau Kota, Kuala Lumpur, which was filled with warmth, elegance, and joyful reunions... the atmosphere was lively and celebratory, with family members and guests gathering to congratulate the newlyweds and share in the happiness of the occasion... it was also a pleasure to make a new acquaintance there - Prof. Dr. Syed Jamal Abdul Nasir bin Syed Mohamad, the Dean of AAGBS, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) - who is a relative of Ami Din... meeting him added a meaningful personal and academic connection to the event, turning the reception into not just a celebration of love, but also a memorable gathering that strengthened family ties and introductions across generations...

Diarrhea

I started experiencing stomach pain since yesterday, followed by persistent diarrhoea from the night, which left me exhausted and unable to get proper rest... to address the condition, I sought treatment at Mediklinik Mikhail, Puncak Alam, where a combination of medications was prescribed to manage both the cause and the symptoms... Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride 500 mg was given as an antibiotic to treat a suspected bacterial gastrointestinal infection, while Dyna Charcoal 250 mg helps absorb toxins, bacteria, and excess gas in the digestive tract... to prevent dehydration from fluid loss, ORS Plus was prescribed to restore essential electrolytes... MODIM 3 mg was included to reduce the frequency of diarrhoea by slowing intestinal movement, allowing better fluid absorption, and Buscopan 10 mg was provided to relieve abdominal cramps and stomach spasms by relaxing the gut muscles... together, these medications work holistically to control infection, relieve pain and discomfort, regulate bowel movements, and support recovery by restoring hydration and digestive balance...

Sharifah Irdina's Wedding Reception

we represented the groom’s family for the wedding of Syed Anis, attending both the akad nikah ceremony in the morning and the wedding reception in the evening at Darul Makmur hotel, Jerantut, Pahang... the celebration was beautifully coordinated with a simple yet elegant theme - the men dressed in white jubah, symbolizing purity and unity, while the women wore black abayas, creating a dignified and harmonious atmosphere... Syed Anis, who is Naja’s cousin and the son of Nde Diah and Ami Shikh, was surrounded by close family and relatives, adding warmth and familiarity to the occasion... it was especially nice to meet Abang Mahdi’s biras, as Sharifah Irdina is part of the extended family from the Pahang side, turning the wedding into a happy family reunion... laughter, shared conversations, and heartfelt congratulations filled the air throughout the day, making the occasion not only a celebration of marriage but also a joyful gathering that strengthened family bonds and created cherished memories for everyone present...

Visiting Azim and Abyana

Abyana had thoughtfully reminded Naja to prepare spaghetti carbonara during our visit... she happily shared it with a few of her friends, turning it into a small moment of comfort from home... Azim did the same, enjoy with his friends as well... to make sure everyone had enough to eat, we also bought some extra chicken fried rice as a backup... even though they were away from home, it was nice knowing they could still enjoy a taste of home and share it with those around them...

FOB - Industry Advisory Board

I was assigned as the slide curator for both the Diploma in Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration programmes, which involved coordinating structured discussions with key stakeholders... each programme requires the participation of 4 Industry Advisory Board members and 5 Academic Partners, who serve as observers, moderators, and minutes takers to ensure the process is rigorous and well documented... the primary importance of this discussion lies in evaluating whether the current curriculum remains relevant to the evolving needs of the business market, while also identifying critical skill gaps among students at both the diploma and degree levels... by engaging industry practitioners and academic experts directly, the programme gains valuable real‑world insights into emerging business trends, employer expectations, digital and professional competencies, and workplace readiness... these discussions play a crucial role in guiding curriculum enhancement, ensuring that learning outcomes are aligned with industry demands, and supporting the university’s commitment to producing graduates who are competent, adaptable, and employable in a competitive business environment...

UNITAR 24th Convocation

yesterday’s convocation was dedicated exclusively to UNITAR graduates, conducted in 2 sessions - a morning session and an afternoon session... today, the ceremony continued for KLMUC and Cosmopoint graduates, but involved only a morning session, as the number of graduates was smaller... we checked out of the hotel at 7:00 am and proceeded straight to PICC to prepare for the day... as expected, today’s session started slightly later than scheduled due to the lighter crowd... once all food and beverage arrangements were confirmed and settled, I headed straight back, concluding my responsibilities for the convocation smoothly and efficiently...

Chef Usri

we had the pleasure of meeting Chef Usri at the hotel’s Coffee House, and it turned into a warm and memorable encounter... despite his distinguished background as a former chef at Sime Darby Convention Centre, he was very humble and welcoming... in a generous gesture, he treated us to a meal, turning a casual meeting into a moment of genuine hospitality... sharing food and conversations with him added a personal touch to our stay, reflecting not only his culinary background but also his gracious character and passion for connecting with people through food...

16th Anniversary

Alhamdulillah for 16 years of marriage, a journey shaped by Allah SWT’s mercy, patience, and countless unseen blessings... through seasons of ease and trial, joy and quiet endurance, Allah SWT has held our hearts together and taught us the meaning of sabr, shukr, and responsibility toward one another... as we mark this milestone, we pray that our union continues to be filled with barakah, guided by faith, strengthened by forgiveness, and softened by compassion... may Allah SWT keep love alive in our hearts, grant us wisdom in our words, tranquility in our home, and reunite us not only in this world, but among those who walk together into Jannah...

Pulse Grande Hotel

each member of the convocation committee is provided with a hotel room by UNITAR as part of the official arrangements... this initiative helps ensure that we are well‑rested and can focus fully on our responsibilities throughout the event, especially given the long hours and the 2‑day schedule... the accommodation also allows for smoother coordination, timely attendance, and overall efficiency in managing the convocation proceedings...

we were selected to stay at Pulse Grande hotel, a 5‑star deluxe hotel located at Taman Putra Perdana, Precinct 1, Putrajaya, overlooking the heart of Malaysia’s federal administrative capital... strategically set on a green hilltop enclave, the hotel offers a tranquil resort‑style atmosphere while remaining close to key landmarks such as Putra mosque, Perdana Putra, and PICC, making it especially convenient for our convocation... formerly known as the Putrajaya Shangri‑La hotel, the property was opened in 2003 and is owned by Putrajaya Leisure and Services Group Sdn Bhd (PULSE Group); it was officially rebranded as Pulse Grande hotel in January 2018 as part of the group’s hospitality expansion strategy... known as a hotel in a park and a park in a hotel, it features elegant rooms, landscaped gardens, fine dining outlets, a spa, gym, and an infinity saltwater pool, offering both comfort and calm - an ideal setting for us requiring rest and focus during a busy convocation schedule...
