Azim went to the office on a motorcycle with me... although he had breakfast at home, we still stopped for another breakfast near the office at Fariz Maju, Kelana Jaya - enjoying some roti canai...

while Azim took a break at the office, I attended to my work... at 11:45 am, I made my way to Kampung Medan and had lunch at the stall located in front of the usual bus drop‑off point for Azim... 

Azim had nasi goreng kampung cili api, while I enjoyed bakso, along with some fresh coconut water... we also bought an ayam penyet set for Azim to eat later when he arrives at the hostel...

suddenly, heavy rain poured down... today, a van was arranged because the bus was departing from Kajang... the van was supposed to meet the bus at the Nilai rest area, where Azim would transfer to the bus heading to SMADATA...

today turned out to be quite a challenge - the van actually forgot to pick up Azim... we waited for quite a long time at the stall before the van turned back and finally met us at the Petronas station in Kampung Medan...

Azim was finally sent off in the van at Petronas... I had to wear a raincoat on the way back to the office, but the most important thing was that Azim did not get wet...

Deepavali Open House

we had the opportunity to attend a Deepavali open house hosted by Herindran, a former UNITAR Degree and Master’s student, at his home in Kuala Selangor... he has extended the invitation every year, but this was the first time I was able to attend... coming from a family with strong educational roots - his late grandfather and mother being former school principals - the gathering reflected a welcoming and well‑organized spirit... the celebration was made even more enjoyable by the delicious food and the warm hospitality shared throughout the occasion...

our Ertiga has been with our family for 4 meaningful years... it was registered on 25 July 2018, at a time when I was in the Mecca performing the Hajj in 2018... to date, the vehicle has clocked a mileage of 160,237 km and is still covered under the 10‑year or 250,000 km warranty... an inspection was carried out at Carsome Puncak Alam on Saturday, 15 October, and today marks the official handover of the vehicle to Carsome at the BSN Saujana Utama branch... this moment signifies the closing of a chapter filled with countless journeys and family memories...

today marked the final day of the MQA compliance session for the Diploma in Hotel Management programme... the evaluation panel was visibly surprised when informed that the Diploma in Hotel Management, Diploma in Tourism Management, Bachelor of Hospitality Management, Bachelor in Hotel Management, and Bachelor in Tourism Management programmes would be permanently discontinued by UNITAR management...

from the perspective of UNITAR’s management, these programmes are no longer considered relevant... as a result, programmes that were once well‑recognized and respected have come to an end... unfortunately, there is no longer an opportunity for us to defend or sustain them... regardless of the feedback or recommendations provided by the MQA panel, the decision remains final - the programmes will be closed...

Today, we reorganized and archived the programme documents in the documentation room as a lasting keepsake, preserving the memory of these programmes for the future...

Car Cushion Cleaning

I took a day off to have the seat cushions of our Ertiga professionally cleaned using the OPSCUCI service... the cleaning results were very satisfying, leaving the car interior fresh and comfortable... the service cost RM170, with an additional RM30 for home service... overall, it was an excellent and worthwhile service experience...

I rearranged my desk location at the office, moving to a spot between Misyer and Rashdeen... I have wanted to sit in this area for quite some time, as it is more convenient and suitable for conducting online classes... the new seating arrangement provides a more comfortable and practical workspace, making it easier to manage my daily academic responsibilities...
