Ara Damansara Day 4

when I think back on the incident, everything happened so quickly... I was fortunate that when my head hit the ground, someone nearby kept telling me to stay conscious and not fall asleep - I clearly remember seeing stars circling in my vision... I never expected that the way I fell could result in a fracture of my left clavicle... I accept what happened with an open heart and will carry it as a lifelong memory... thank you sincerely to everyone who came to visit me today... the total medical cost amounted to RM25,650.20, which was fully covered by Prudential, with only RM106.10 paid by myself... I was prescribed several medications to support my recovery: Celecoxib (Celebrex) 200 mg to reduce pain and inflammation after surgery, Eperisone (Myonal) 50 mg to relax muscles and relieve stiffness around the shoulder area, Panadeine (Paracetamol with Codeine) for stronger pain control during recovery, and Reparil (amorphous aescin) to help reduce swelling and bruising from the injury and surgery... my stay at Ara Damansara Medical Centre has officially come to an end, and it is now time for me to return home... I have been granted 23 days of hospitalization leave until my next follow-up appointment, and for now, my focus is on resting well and recovering fully...

Ara Damansara Day 3

I remember clearly that after the surgery was completed, I was gradually awakened... perhaps due to the effects of the anesthesia, I simply continued to rest and fall back asleep... maybe because I slept for such a long time, I woke up early today before dawn... the movement in my shoulder now feels almost normal, and there is no longer much to worry about... however, I still remember what Dr. Achdiat explained - that after surgery, many nerves are affected, which is completely normal... these nerves will regenerate over time, although it may take a while... there might be a temporary loss of pain sensation, whether for a week, a month, or even up to 3 months... regardless, he assured me that the tendons would not be damaged... I was able to see the X-ray results, and the bone has been successfully realigned and fixed in place... close family members came to visit today, and for now, I am focusing on getting plenty of rest... I have also been given approval to be discharged tomorrow...

Ara Damansara Day 2

the wound has started to feel slightly painful, while my left shoulder remains quite uncomfortable... I need to minimize movement, as excessive motion causes my collarbone to feel as though it is shifting downward, requiring me to adjust and support it back into position... many friends have come to visit, and I truly appreciate it, although this is the only photo I have and I apologize for those I couldn’t capture... regardless, thank you sincerely to everyone who took the time to visit... the surgery is scheduled for tonight, and my last meal was at 2 pm... earlier, Dr. Achdiat visited me again before the operation, explained the surgical procedure in detail, and I signed the consent form in preparation... the surgery will be assist by Dr. Sakuntala Dewi to carry out an open reduction and internal fixation of the left clavicle, where the fractured bone to be realigned and stabilized using internal hardware...

Ara Damansara Day 1

I was immediately taken to the emergency department for further treatment, where my wound was cleaned before I was sent for an X-ray to assess my left collarbone... the results confirmed that it was indeed midshaft clavicle fractured, and I was promptly admitted to the ward... the admission process was smooth since I had previously received treatment at this hospital and my Prudential medical records were already in place... after receiving approval from Prudential, I was admitted to Ward 216-1... later, Dr. Achdiat Mahpha Fansuri visited me and explained 2 treatment options: immobilization with tight bandaging and no movement for 3 months, or surgery to insert metal to stabilize the broken bone... I chose to undergo surgery, which was scheduled for tomorrow at 8 pm... although movement caused significant discomfort, I managed independently and chose not to have anyone accompany me in the ward... for now, I am simply resting and recovering here...

Accident

the incident occurred while I was on my way from home to UNITAR along Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari, and unfortunately it was unavoidable... a motorcycle suddenly crossed into a dual carriageway where crossing is not permitted, leaving no time for me to react... as a result, I had to wait for Naja to come and take me directly to Ara Damansara Medical Centre for further attention... I also requested the motorcyclist involved (Mustakem +60149932866) to take responsibility by arranging for the necessary repairs and to send the vehicle to my home...

Discussion

in a situation where your work is not appreciated and your employer pays only enough to limit your dreams and personal growth, what actions should you take? discuss...

when an individual realizes that their work is not appreciated and that their employer pays only enough to suppress their dreams, it is important to respond wisely rather than emotionally... the first action is to reflect on one’s personal and professional value... understanding your skills, contributions, and potential helps build confidence and prevents self-worth from being defined by an unappreciative workplace...

secondly, professional communication should be attempted... employees should respectfully discuss their concerns with their employer, supported by evidence of their contributions, achievements, and responsibilities... sometimes, employers may not fully recognize an employee’s efforts unless they are clearly communicated... such discussions may lead to better compensation, clearer career pathways, or improved working conditions...

if the situation does not improve, the next action is to invest in self-development... enhancing skills through training, certifications, or further education increases employability and opens doors to better opportunities... by improving one’s market value, an employee gains more control over their career decisions rather than feeling trapped...

at the same time, it is important to plan for alternatives... this includes exploring new job opportunities, building professional networks, or even considering entrepreneurship where appropriate... however, decisions should be made cautiously and responsibly, ensuring financial stability before transitioning...

In summary, staying in a job that slowly destroys personal dreams can negatively affect motivation, growth, and mental well-being... therefore, individuals should take proactive actions - through reflection, communication, self-improvement, and careful planning - to protect their future and pursue a career that values their contributions and aspirations...
