KPI 2023

I first received a WhatsApp message from PL 2 days ago, and today another one came in from DD... after dinner, I went straight to finalizing my KPI report... I had already submitted the mid-year version earlier, so this time it was just a matter of updating it through December... once done, I emailed it to both PL and DD for further action... that said, I still stand by my personal view: I never truly trust KPI... to me, KPI is merely a formal requirement - used when management decides whether to retain someone or let them go... those who know how to play to management tend to benefit most from the KPI system... when your work ultimately involves dealing with people, KPI becomes nothing more than something to submit, nothing beyond that...
