we will be performing Umrah, and since we travelled from Jeddah to Taif, our miqat is considered to be Qarn Manazil, the same miqat used by pilgrims arriving by air from Malaysia and other parts of Southeast Asia before entering Mecca... it is also known as Al‑Sail al‑Kabir, located to the east of Mecca, near Taif, approximately 75 to 90 kilometres away... it is a historically significant miqat that was designated by Rasulullah SAW for the people of Najd and those who pass through that region... for this journey, it marks a deeply meaningful moment, as this is my second Umrah ihram, which I dedicated with the intention of reward for late Tok Ahmad, the late father of my late Mak... entering ihram from here serves as both a physical boundary and a spiritual threshold - reminding pilgrims to purify intentions, detach from worldly concerns, and prepare the heart for sincere worship as they proceed towards Mecca...
