in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2023, the Malaysian government introduced the Rahmah Toll Free initiative, offering free toll travel on the PLUS highway network to ease the cost of festive journeys... the toll exemption was implemented for a total of four days, starting from 12:01 am on 19 April until 11:59 pm on 21 April 2023, and resumed from 12:01 am until 11:59 pm on 24 April 2023... during this period, no toll charges were imposed at exit plazas for all classes of vehicles, provided motorists used the same payment mode upon entry and exit - whether via Touch ‘n Go, SmartTAG, or RFID... this initiative allowed road users to travel more comfortably and plan their balik kampung journeys with greater ease and affordability...
