childhood memories still linger vividly - among them, the house of Ami Yassin stands out as one of the familiar stops for our family’s Hari Raya visits... it was always a place of warmth, laughter, and togetherness... this time, the visit was made even more meaningful with the opportunity to meet Habibah, accompanied, of course, by my beloved grand-niece, Syarifah Aishah, a gentle reminder of how time moves on while cherished traditions remain...
today’s blessings included the opportunity to meet another important figure from the past - Ami Hussein, the younger brother of Ami Yassin... he is a legendary teacher from my days at KSAH, fondly remembered for his dedication and discipline... he was, of course, the coach who trained his students in sepak takraw, shaping not only their skills but also their character... among those students was Abang Mahdi, a name that brings back memories of school days filled with effort, respect, and lasting lessons...
I found myself observing him closely, with a lingering sense of familiarity, as if I had known him before... it soon became clear - he was Muzzammil, the son of the late Ami Mokhtar Barakbah... back then, he was just a little boy; after all, there is a 6-year age gap between us... time has quietly worked its way forward, turning distant childhood memories into meaningful reunions...
