the second day of Hari Raya is traditionally the main open-house gathering here, where relatives from near and far come together under one roof... it is a time when family bonds are renewed and familiar faces fill the house once again... as always, the table was set with traditional favourites - soto ayam enjoyed together with KNgah’s nasi lemak, rendang, serunding, lemang, nasi impit, peanut gravy, and more...
this year, however, many family members spent the festivities at their respective in-laws’ homes... as a result, the long‑standing tradition of giving out duit raya was observed only after all guests had departed, bringing the day to a quiet but meaningful close...
