Heading to Alor Setar

before beginning our journey, we made a stop at Balai Polis Saujana Utama to submit the Balik Kampung notification form... this has always been a responsibility we uphold, so that our whereabouts can be monitored by the authorities throughout the Hari Raya holiday in our hometown... the journey went smoothly, with only a slight congestion at Chenderiang, which was due to an earlier accident reported there - by the time we arrived, the vehicle involved had already been towed away... rain started as we entered the Menora Tunnel and continued until Sungai Perak, while traffic congestion was expectedly heavier around Penang... following Waze’s recommendation, we took the inner roads through Perai... we stopped to perform prayers at Gurun, and eventually arrived safely in Alor Setar... as for fuel efficiency, the X50 performed well - starting with an 8‑bar fuel level and arriving with 3 bars remaining, cruising consistently with the cruise control set at 110 km/h, making the long journey both comfortable and economical...
