do not forget to fulfil your Zakat Fitrah this year... indeed, it is more better to pay zakat in the place where we will be celebrating Eid, but paying it elsewhere is not an error... ideally, we should pay according to the type of rice we normally consume... for example, if we usually eat Basmati, then follow the corresponding zakat rate - which is typically about 3 times higher than the standard rate...
