Kariah Kampung Parit mosque has a long and meaningful history that reflects the religious commitment and communal spirit of the local community in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan... it was originally built in 1909, founded through the collective efforts of the villagers, with the land granted by the Negeri Sembilan state government... in its early years, the mosque served a small congregation of around 50 worshippers, functioning as the main centre for prayers and religious gatherings in the village...
over the decades, the mosque has undergone several repairs and upgrades, notably in 1977, 1992, 2004, and 2005, to accommodate the growing number of worshippers and to improve facilities... today, the congregation has grown to approximately 250 people... in addition to being a place of worship, the mosque plays an important administrative and social role, overseeing three cemeteries and three surau in the surrounding area... its contribution to community development has also been recognized, as it once received third place in the District‑level Exemplary Mosque Award, highlighting its active management and community engagement...
