Sore Gums

I began experiencing severe gum pain on Monday, which became increasingly intense and made it difficult for me to continue fasting... I have an impacted wisdom tooth that ideally needs to be surgically removed; however, the procedure must be postponed for at least 6 months after my stent placement, or until I receive medical clearance from Dr. Liew, as I am currently on blood‑thinning medication... as a result, episodes of gum pain have been occurring on and off... although I have been managing with pain relief and anti‑inflammatory medication, this time the swelling developed into an infection, making it necessary for me to take antibiotics prescribed by ADL Dental Clinic today... due to the severity of the pain and the infection, I was unfortunately unable to fast today...

for those who unexpectedly fall ill during the final 10 days of Ramadhan - whether with a cough, flu, stomach discomfort, toothache, fever, or gastritis - it may carry a deeper spiritual meaning... as shared by the late Sheikh Ali Jaber, illness during Ramadan, especially in its last days, can be a sign of great blessing... it is believed to be a moment when prayers are more readily accepted, sins are forgiven, and divine mercy is abundant, for indeed Allah SWT is with those who are patient in sickness...
