Hari Raya is always a special time for us, a moment when laughter, memories, and family traditions come alive under one roof... despite busy schedules and different paths in life, Raya becomes the precious reunion that brings everyone back together - sharing stories, teasing each other like old times, and strengthening the bond that only siblings truly understand... in the spirit of forgiveness, togetherness, and celebration, these moments remind us that family is the heart of every Raya, and we are the joy that makes it complete...

Liverpool - Premier League Champions 2019
Liverpool’s triumph as Premier League Champions in the 2019/20 season marked a historic moment for the club, ending a 30‑year wait for top‑flight glory... under Jürgen Klopp’s leadership, Liverpool clinched the title with seven games remaining - earlier than any team in league history by games played - after Manchester City’s defeat to Chelsea on 25 June 2020... their dominant campaign, built on consistency, high‑intensity football, and record‑breaking performances, secured their 19th league title and their first of the Premier League era, cementing the season as one of the most memorable chapters in the club’s modern era...

Sales and Marketing
every business needs profit - at the very least, it must break even... and where does all of this come from? naturally, from sales and marketing... if sales and marketing performs poorly, the entire business suffers... many businesses have already closed down, especially with today’s unstable economic conditions...
when sales and marketing lacks pulling power, creativity, knowledge, communication skills, a sense of responsibility when sales are low, and the ability to build consumer confidence - yet still remains in the business - believe me, the issue of insufficient revenue will continue forever...
where did sales and marketing go during the golden age of the business? why only now, during decline, is it suddenly a concern? the answer lies in management... is it still not clear which period was successful and which is declining?
if other departments are forced to sell and market simply because sales and marketing fails to meet targets, how can those departments fulfil their actual responsibilities? they should not be burdened... it is management itself that should step in and handle sales and marketing - only then would the salary they receive be justified, wouldn’t you agree?
over time, the business continues to shrink, weakens, and eventually disappears altogether... a business that was once strong and proud becomes nothing more than today in history - all because of sales and Marketing issues... to anyone who feels offended, don’t overreact... don’t complain about your own shortcomings... prove that you are not like that - prove that you are the best in sales and marketing...

Alhamdulillah… this marks the beginning of our journey in elevating Malay massage - a treasured heritage of Malay arts that deserves recognition and practice at the global level... while some universities or colleges may focus on other traditional arts, our own native heritage should not be overlooked... Malay massage courses represent a true Malay niche, and credit goes to USM for taking this important step... we fully support Syed Mahdi and his dedicated team for their continuous efforts... the signing of the MOU between Institut Perubatan and Pergigian Termaju (IPPT) USM and the Heritage Association of Malay Massage (HAMA) further strengthens this mission to preserve, promote, and professionalize our traditional Malay art...

EduTrip Approach
I have, from the very beginning until now, continued teaching at UNITAR while consistently maintaining the EduTrip approach for my students... at times, I even open the opportunity to other students... what matters most is that students gain real insight into what the industry is currently practising... and if anyone questions this method, I will still stand by my approach...
there was once an MQA panel who asked why I conducted trips far away when there were closer options... my answer was simple: the farther we go, the greater the exposure... if there were an opportunity to go to Antarctica, I would bring the students there too - so they can learn about methods and practices in other environments...
Alhamdulillah, since 2008, Amri and I have organized many of these trips... many students who joined our approach have already built successful careers... our hope is that other lecturers or educators will also adopt this method to broaden students’ exposure to the working world... budget or no budget, the programme still goes on... what we do is simply secure the most affordable rates for students... ultimately, it all comes down to one thing - our intention must be for learning... Insya Allah, when the intention is sincere, everything will be eased...

Get Well Soon
on Monday, Ustaz told us that Azim wasn’t feeling well... he was very weak, resting a lot, and had vomiting and diarrhoea... when I picked him up from school, Azim said his mouth tasted bitter... I gave him some porridge, but he vomited again... that night, he went to bed early...
today, he didn’t go to school and followed Mama to the office... his appetite is low, and he’s still vomiting... in the end, Azim couldn’t fight it off anymore... the doctor prescribed medication for vomiting, stomach pain, wind, and diarrhoea... Mama made fish ball soup and fed him a little with rice... after taking his medicine, he fell asleep immediately...

Rightfully Qualified to Assess
in my view, subjects such as mathematics, science, accounting, history, geography, economics, and others require only individuals who are skilled in those fields to evaluate them, regardless of race or background... the same applies to language subjects - if a non‑Muslim is proficient in Arabic, they are qualified to give opinions or even serve as an evaluation panel... however, when it comes to Islamic Religious Studies, the evaluator must not only be knowledgeable but also a Muslim... this means that a non‑Muslim cannot provide opinions or assess this subject in any capacity... no matter how skilled they may be, they are not eligible - unless they profess the two declarations of faith and truly believe that there is no God but Allah SWT and that Prophet Muhammad SAW is His messenger, which is the First Pillar of Islam... only then would they be considered qualified: both knowledgeable and a Muslim...

Job Hierarchy
in the working world, there is always a hierarchy... subordinates report to their superiors, and to become a good superior, one must first understand the work of those below... if a leader does not understand this, their instructions become chaotic and confusing...
it is like a captain navigating a ship... it is not the captain alone who makes the ship sail, but the rudder that steers it... a good captain must know every function of the rudder... only then can he overcome obstacles, because he understands the capabilities of his ship... the captain must stay focused on the destination... a journey without direction will not only exhaust the crew, but also waste time, increase maintenance costs, and eventually weaken the crew’s confidence in their captain..

Negative Assumptions
harboring suspicion is one of the blameworthy traits... the act of constantly searching for other people’s faults often arises when negative assumptions begin to take root in the heart... once negative suspicion emerges, the desire to uncover the mistakes, flaws, or shortcomings of others will naturally follow... anyone who harbours bad thoughts toward fellow Muslims must repent and seek forgiveness from Allah SWT... the sin of those who indulge in negative assumptions is great and is counted among wrongful and harmful deeds...
Purity of the Heart
there are so many people today who no longer take care of the cleanliness of their hearts... if we have such traits within ourselves, let us change... purify the heart, and may happiness await us... we never know when our time will come, and how unfortunate it would be to leave this world with a heart clouded by impurity... don’t ever think we are too good or too righteous...
