today marks the first day of the Perdana Hajj Course organized by Tabung Haji for this year... since I am registered under the Kelana Jaya branch, I am attending the course at Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah in Shah Alam... as for Walid and Umi, they will be joining the programme in Kedah... may this preparation bring ease, understanding, and readiness for the blessed journey ahead...
we were required to wear ihram and perform the practical training for the Hajj rituals... Alhamdulillah, it was a blessing to have learned early on how to wear the ihram properly, which made the process much easier... my heartfelt thanks go to my colleague, Saiful from the International Student Department of UNITAR, who kindly lent me his ihram... may the barakah of this kindness reach him, and may Allah SWT grant him the opportunity to receive the call to perform Hajj in the near future....
Alhamdulillah, I had the chance to reconnect with an old friend from Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Uda, Anuar Abu Bakar... it was heartwarming to learn that he received the call to perform Hajj together with his wife... as for me, I will be embarking on this blessed journey with Walid and Umi... moments like these remind us of Allah SWT’s beautiful plans and the special bonds He allows us to cherish along the way...
I have now been assigned and tagged under Maktab 87, which means I will be part of this group until the completion of the course... this assignment provides a sense of structure and belonging as we progress together through every stage of the training, supporting one another along this meaningful journey...
it was our turn today to practise the rituals of tawaf and sa‘i, and the experience was both meaningful and enjoyable... moving together as a group created a sense of unity and purpose as we circled the replica of the Kaabah prepared by Tabung Haji... the practical session not only strengthened our understanding of the rites but also deepened our appreciation for the sacred journey that awaits...
Breakfast was generously prepared by the participating pilgrims themselves, creating a friendly and lively atmosphere as everyone enjoyed the food together... several small stalls were also open, giving us the chance to relax, chat, and eat comfortably on-site... truly, this course has proven to be an excellent and meaningful programme for future Hajj pilgrims, offering both knowledge and a sense of community throughout the learning experience...
