the solution turned out to be a replacement of the white router, as the issue was traced back to a faulty device... the technician who attended earlier was from the IT team and did not carry a replacement router, but I was informed that this particular router model is known to experience such problems fairly often... it seemed that my luck was not on my side, especially since the router was part of the stock used during the MCO period... a second technician was then scheduled to come with a new router for replacement... after the initial team departed, the next technician arrived at the house shortly before the Asar prayer call... the issue was finally resolved...
