when a Q1 journal publication appears, it is often recognized as the highest standard of academic achievement - praised for its strong theoretical grounding, polished international language, and impressive citations... such accomplishments truly reflect intellectual capability and scholarly excellence... yet, as Muslims, it invites a deeper reflection: do we feel accomplished while the language of the Al-Quran remains something we can recite but scarcely understand, and memorizing it still feels distant and difficult? this honest question is not meant to diminish academic success, but to realign priorities... it is never too late to begin, even if progress feels slow and age is advancing... what matters is the intention to start, for this effort is not for worldly recognition, but as a provision for the Hereafter...
