we can now see that many people have become more aware and concerned about performing prayers, whether at the mosque or the surau... if attending congregational prayers is not yet possible, this period can be seen as a valuable opportunity to purify and improve ourselves by praying at home with our families... consider it a learning process - those who were once afraid to lead prayers have begun to gain confidence, are able to recite surahs, revise the correct methods of prayer, and practise what they have learned... this is truly a positive development... let us be patient, and when the situation has fully improved, let us return together to performing congregational prayers at the mosque or surau, especially for men... let us also ensure that our concern does not fade once this period ends, leaving mosques and suraus quiet again while awareness exists only on social media... may this sense of responsibility continue, so that mosques and suraus remain filled with worshippers at all times...
