the Automated Enforcement System (AES) is Malaysia’s automated road‑safety enforcement initiative designed to detect and record traffic violations such as speeding and running red lights... introduced on 22 September 2012, AES operates through strategically installed cameras along federal roads, highways, and accident‑prone areas to ensure transparent, accurate, and consistent monitoring of driver behaviour... there were 5 AES cameras along the journey to Alor Setar today... impressive, really.... we once thought they didn’t want these things anymore, but it seems the number keeps increasing... if you feel like speeding, be prepared - 5 times RM300 will be waiting for you... they say it’s all for safety, so just follow the speed limit, fair enough... but the important thing is this: make sure the camera is placed at the 110 km/h zone... don’t go installing them in areas with limits of 90 km/h or below - at that point, it’s no longer a highway; you might as well call it a low‑way... safe driving to all the Kedah folks heading back to the Jelapang Padi!

Private Number
let me just say this... whenever I get a call from a Private Number, I’m sorry, but I’m not going to answer it... the same goes for those calls about credit cards, trying to offer this package and that package - I’m sorry, but I have to be honest: I’m not interested... if you ask me why, the answer is simple - I have other things to do... and really, for those Private Number callers, go ahead and call other Private Numbers instead... that’s what “private” is supposed to mean... but calling us, the ones who aren’t private - why? don’t go around spreading numbers like that... if you still insist on calling, then change your number to not private first... that’s how it is!

Stock Delivery
at around 6 pm earlier today, I picked up the Biskut Jajan from Family Corner - 16 boxes in total... thankfully, during Ramadan, working hours end at 4:30 pm, so I could head home a little earlier... I rode the motorbike back, reached home, then switched to the car... after Tarawih prayers, I continued arranging all the boxes inside the house...

No Excuse
what excuse can anyone with a sound and complete body give for abandoning the prayer? remember, in the grave later, none of our limbs will function anymore... we will be washed, shrouded, prayed upon, carried, and lowered into the grave - completely dependent on the strength of other people... do not show arrogance before Allah SWT by neglecting the 5 daily prayers... once the soul is taken, only then will the consequences of our actions in this life become clear... ya Allah, forgive our past sins, open our hearts so we may correct our mistakes and our negligence toward You...

Atta'awun Mosque
this photo holds a special memory from our visit to Atta'awun mosque in Puncak, Bogor, taken shortly after completing my Master’s thesis at UUM... it was a meaningful trip with Teja and Kucai, travelling via KLM on the KL-Jakarta-KL route... the picture itself brings back the charm of the old days - captured on a Kodak film camera, long before mobile phone cameras even existed... looking at it now, it reminds me not only of the journey we took, but also of a simpler time when every photograph carried the excitement of being developed and revealed...
Magical Anfield
Barcelona looked down on English clubs after defeating the stylish Manchester United at both Old Trafford and the Nou Camp, believing they were simply superior... they were fortunate then, and when the semi‑final paired them with a low‑profile team like Liverpool, their confidence grew even more... after scoring comfortably again at the Nou Camp, they assumed that if they could win at Old Trafford, Anfield would be no challenge - especially with Salah and Firmino missing from the squad... Barcelona arrived at Anfield full of swagger, convinced they were heading to the final... that, unfortunately, was the definition of overconfidence... in the end, luck turned against them... despite carrying a three‑goal advantage and fielding their strongest lineup - Messi, Suárez, and Coutinho - they collapsed at Anfield, not losing by one or two, but by four... be patient, Barcelona; let this be a reminder that English clubs are not as easy to underestimate as you might think... and that, in short, is my little commentary for today... YNWA...

Role Model
I received a WhatsApp message from Naja, and it truly reminded me that there is still so much to improve in our efforts to build a heavenly home... a husband and father is the role model of the family - when he shines, the household radiates with light; when he falls into darkness, the home becomes gloomy... thank you, my dear wife, for sharing this meaningful reminder... God willing, it will serve as a benchmark for us as we continue striving to create a harmonious and spiritually blessed family...
Let Us Strengthen Our Bonds
life is merely a temporary stop, and at any moment we may be called back to Allah SWT... no matter how impressive our achievements are - whether we work tirelessly, attain excellent KPIs, or receive generous bonuses - everything loses its meaning the moment Allah SWT takes it all away... gatherings like this do not require much time, yet they bring immense blessings and remind us of our true purpose... It is my hope that every organization continues to hold such events, as they nurture unity, reflection, and spiritual well‑being within the community...
