Bang Mud Seafood Raft is one of Phuket’s well‑known floating restaurants, located between Laem Hin Pier and Coconut Island, offering us a unique dining experience on interconnected wooden rafts that float gently above the water... famous for its fresh, locally sourced seafood - often taken directly from nets and holding baskets on site - the restaurant serves authentic Thai flavours in a simple yet charming setting surrounded by peaceful coastal views... the short complimentary long‑tail boat ride to the raft adds to the adventure, making Bang Mud Seafood Raft a memorable stop for those seeking both delicious food and a distinctive cultural experience in Phuket...

the restaurant is run by local residents, including one of the owners named Awie, who previously lived in Alor Setar near Sultan Abdul Hamid College... they are genuinely skilled cooks, and their dishes reflect their talent and experience...

to be honest, the food here is truly exceptional... their tom yum is especially outstanding, and when you add fresh clams, prawns, squid, and fish, the flavours become even more satisfying... every dish is prepared with such richness and care that it leaves you completely delighted with the meal...

Alhamdulillah, we left the table feeling full and completely satisfied... the entire meal cost 4,000 baht, and they told us it was the friends price... considering the generous portions and the quality of the dishes, it truly felt worth every baht... 

Leamhin Port

Laemhin Port, located on the east coast of Phuket, serves as an important gateway connecting the island to nearby destinations such as Coconut Island, Koh Yao Yai, and Koh Yao Noi... known for its peaceful surroundings and scenic waterfront views, the pier offers us a quieter alternative compared to Phuket’s busier ports... the area is also popular for its local seafood restaurants, including well‑known floating eateries that add to its authentic coastal charm... this is the place we chose for our midday lunch... 

Phuket Day 4

we started our morning in Patong with a pleasant walk from Patong Studio Apartment to a nearby restaurant for breakfast... the short stroll allowed us to enjoy the lively streets and local atmosphere before settling down for a meal at a spot located close to the Royale Palace Indian Restaurant... it was a simple yet enjoyable start to the day, offering both convenience and a taste of Patong’s vibrant morning scene... 

Patong Beach

we spent a relaxing time at Patong Beach, enjoying the sea breeze, the lively coastal atmosphere, and the soothing sound of the waves... it was a pleasant break from the busy town area, giving us the chance to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty that makes Patong one of Phuket’s most popular seaside destinations...

Masjid Nurul Islam Patong

Masjid Nurul Islam Patong is one of the notable Muslim landmarks in Phuket, serving as a peaceful spiritual refuge amid the lively atmosphere of Patong... with its welcoming community and serene environment, the mosque offers visitors a place to pause, reflect, and perform their prayers comfortably... its presence highlights the cultural and religious diversity of the area, making it an important place of worship for both locals and travellers... I were blessed with the opportunity to hear the call to prayer, as I was given permission by the bilal to recite the Asar azan... we then performed the congregational prayer together, creating a meaningful and memorable spiritual moment in the heart of Patong...

Patong Town

we spent the day exploring Patong Town, wandering through its lively streets filled with shops, cafes, and the vibrant energy that the area is known for... the bustling atmosphere, colourful storefronts, and constant movement of us made the walk both exciting and refreshing, offering us a closer look at the everyday charm of Patong... the cheerful ride of a colourful tuk-tuk added to the experience, giving us a fun and unique way to take in the sights, sounds, and vibrant energy that Patong is famous for...

Heading Patong Studio Apartment

after checking out, we headed to Patong Studio Apartment using the pre‑booked van service... the journey from Sri Panwa Luxury Resort to the Patong area covers approximately 25-26 kilometres, with an average travel time of about 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions... the smooth ride offered us a final glimpse of Phuket’s coastal scenery as we made our way toward Patong, ready to settle into our next accommodation...

Phuket Day 3

on our final day at the resort, we took some photos in the peaceful morning light before returning to our villa to pack our belongings... 

in the midst of the packing rush, Furqan quietly wandered off and started playing with the water filled with fish - only to suddenly jump in because he wanted to touch them... that little Furqan certainly gave us a memorable moment...

once everything was packed, we headed to the lobby for check‑out, ending our stay with the most beautiful memories at Sri Panwa Luxury Resort Phuket...
