today's tutorial activity focused on conducting an interview session, where each group was given the opportunity to play different roles, namely as the interviewee, interviewer, and human resource manager... the activity was designed to provide students with practical experience in the recruitment and selection process commonly used by organizations... three groups acted as job applicants with different educational backgrounds and work experiences... group 1 represented a candidate who possessed only an SPM qualification but had extensive and relevant work experience... group 2 portrayed a candidate with a Diploma qualification and part-time working experience gained while studying... meanwhile, group 3 represented a candidate with excellent Diploma results but no prior work experience... during the role-play session, the interviewers were responsible for asking questions related to the job position, qualifications, skills, and personal attributes, while the interviewees responded as realistically as possible based on their assigned profiles... at the end of each interview, the Human Resource Manager evaluated the candidate's performance, assessed their suitability for the position, and provided a final decision on whether the candidate should be offered employment with the company... this activity allowed students to develop their communication, critical thinking, decision-making, and interviewing skills while gaining a better understanding of how recruitment decisions are made in real workplace settings...
