on 28 January, I submitted the claim form to confirm my serious coronary artery disease diagnosis to Mohd Nazim Mohd Nazmi, the agent handling my PruBSN Takaful policy... since PruBSN did not have my complete medical history on record, I was required to obtain medical reports and records from several institutions, including Klinik Kesihatan, HR UNITAR, Hospital Sungai Buloh, Ara Damansara Medical Centre, and Mediklinik Mikhail... I successfully gathered and submitted all the requested documents on 27 April... subsequently, I was asked to provide additional medical records relating to my diabetes condition, which I managed to submit on 25 May... all expenses incurred in obtaining these medical records were covered by PruBSN, although I was initially required to make the payments upfront, submit the receipts, and receive reimbursement afterwards...
Alhamdulillah, today I was informed that my claim has been approved... as a result, I will no longer be required to pay my monthly contributions for the coverage under my policy... the contribution waiver will remain in effect until 30 September 2046.... in addition, all contributions that I made from December 2025 to May 2026 will be refunded... I would like to express my sincere gratitude to PruBSN Takaful for their understanding, support, and concern regarding my health condition during this process... this approval provides significant peace of mind and financial relief, allowing me to focus on my recovery and long-term health management... thank you, PruBSN, for your assistance and commitment to supporting policyholders during challenging times.
