as part of the programme launching ceremony at 9:10 am, I was invited to recite the opening prayer... the programme focuses on neurodivergent individuals, a term used to describe people whose brains function, learn, process information, or interact with the world differently from what is considered typical... neurodiversity includes conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Tourette Syndrome, and other neurological differences... rather than viewing these differences as deficits, the neurodiversity perspective recognizes that individuals have unique strengths, abilities, and ways of thinking... many neurodivergent individuals demonstrate exceptional creativity, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, innovation, and specialized talents... however, they may also experience challenges related to communication, social interaction, sensory processing, organization, or learning in conventional environments... programmes that promote awareness and inclusion of neurodivergent individuals are important because they help foster understanding, reduce stigma, and create supportive educational, workplace, and community environments where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential and make meaningful contributions to society...
ya Allah, we humbly express our deepest gratitude to You for granting us the opportunity to be present and to participate in the Neurodivergent Carnival 2026 today... with hearts full of humility, we seek Your forgiveness, we ask for Your protection, and we earnestly implore Your mercy and compassion, so that the carnival may be blessed by You...
ya Allah, through this carnival, instil faith within our hearts, unite us regardless of skin colour or ethnicity, and grant us blessings so that sincerity may flourish within us... nurture physical well‑being, cultivate pure intellects, and open minds that are receptive and enlightened... from this, ya Allah, allow us to harmonize these elements within ourselves, so that we may become a balanced community and driving our nation towards excellence, distinction, and greatness...
ya Allah, grant that the participants in this carnival become individuals who are grateful for the recognition bestowed upon them... make them who persevere with diligence and determination to continuously enhance their potential and performance, whether in academics, co‑curricular activities, or personal character...
ya Allah, we seek strength from You, so that all who are present today may carry out acts of goodness... make us among those who hear what is good and hasten to perform noble deeds, and among those who recognize wrongdoing and promptly refrain from it...
